The District Board of Directors serves staggered four-year terms, and elections are held on the November Uniform Election Date in even-numbered years. The next Board of Directors election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Candidates for Director must file an Application for a Place on the Ballot. The first day to file for a place on the ballot is July 20, 2024. The last day to file for a place on the ballot is August 19, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. (78 days prior to the election).
The election shall be held at the early voting and election day polling places established by Travis County. Individuals seeking a place on the ballot may obtain applications upon request to the District in person at 3812 Eck Lane, Austin, Texas 78734, by email at pneeley@wcid17.org, or by downloading the following:
