If your home has an existing water meter, a service transfer fee and security deposit are required. The security deposit will be refunded after one year if there are no delinquent payments in that year. To establish service in your name, the District will require the following:

The completed and signed Service Agreement is acceptable by fax: 512-266-2790; email to customerservice@wcid17.org; mail or delivery in-person to 3812 Eck Lane, Austin, TX 78734. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Planning to build a new home or business in the District? You’ll need to submit a refundable meter deposit. Please anticipate a 3-4 week timeline for the installation of your water tap and meter setup.
