Is there any adjustment (credit) given if I have a leak?

If you have abnormally high usage as a result of a water leak, you may apply for an Unintentional Water Loss Adjustment once per calendar year. You will need to submit your request in writing, providing the date when you think the leak may have started, the cause of the leak, and the date the leak was repaired. You will also need to attach a copy of the repair receipts for materials used to repair the leak. This type of adjustment can take 45 – 60 days and you are still responsible for paying your bill each month or making a payment arrangement prior to any due date.  If an adjustment is awarded, it will appear as a credit on your account.
