Travis County Water Control and Improvement District No. 17 (WCID No. 17) is a private non-profit utility company serving water and wastewater to areas of Lake Travis South. Company benefits are subject to change annually. Salary for all positions is dependent upon qualifications.
All positions require a minimum high school diploma or GED with some requiring higher education. All field positions additionally require a valid Texas Driver’s License; the ability to work overtime when necessary, and good communication skills. Tools are provided for all positions. Field staff is provided a uniform allowance and use of District vehicles for applicable positions. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful clearance by a pre-placement background check, verifying his/her right to be legally employed in the United States, and pre-placement physical examination (which includes a drug screening).
